In light of new evidence, the CDC is now recommending everyone should wear cloth face masks in public outings. Additionally, the CDC is advising the use of simple cloth face coverings to help prevent people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.  These recommendations complement and do not replace other measures that are already in place.
